Cornitos Nachos Packaging Design & Branding

Cornitos entered the Indian snacks market in 2009; within a short period, they have positioned CORNITOS as a successful Healthy Snacking Brand. Mr Vikram Aggarwal's (director) passionate and focused approach makes them a leading company in a national and international platform.

Challenge

  • Cornitos, as an established brand in metro cities planning to launch its product in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
  • We had to focus on international packaging standards as part of the Brand strategy.
  • Brand communication on packaging design was to be 'elite' in look.
  • To take the successful Cornitos Brand and harmonise its brand expression in a highly customer-relevant way.

Solution

DesignerPeople had to be proactive and did a professional Photo shoot to get versatile images for their new upcoming packaging without hampering their core strength, the logo.
After extensive customer/competitive research in the various metro, tier 1 and tier 2 cities, we unearthed the consistent drivers for the target group; hence, we introduced visually appealing vibrant colours and infographic specifications on the packaging.
The packaging background was kept earthy yet classy by giving a wooden texture base. Taking inspiration from Mexican Food culture, we merged dips with their original form that, are fruits attractively placed in the background, making it look more soulful and Divine on the final packaging.
